In fact, our Applied Vehicle Dynamics Seminar is said to be one of the most intense experiences you’ll have learning vehicle dynamics in a classroom setting. We created a simulation model of an LMP to build a simulation model that helped set bump rubber gaps. We also performed a kinematic study to highlight the differences between the manufacturers.


This study showed how OptimumG engineers can use OptimumDynamics, our proprietary software, to understand a new car’s behavior, and how different setup adjustments influence its behavior.
We completed several studies using results for the car including advanced visualization features that displayed the results in useful ways.
We used metrics from the yaw moment diagram method to evaluate the car’s grip, balance, control, and stability. The simulation included:
